Negotiation

Not all family law matters need to go to court. Many couples are able to resolve property and parenting issues through negotiation — with the support of legal advice. We help clients understand their rights, negotiate confidently, and document fair agreements.

Mediation

Mediation is a structured process where an independent mediator helps the parties work through their issues and try to reach agreement. It is often a helpful and cost-effective step before court. We support clients in preparing for and participating in mediation.

Consent Orders

When an agreement is reached (through negotiation or mediation), it can be formalised by applying to the court for Consent Orders. This gives the agreement legal effect and makes it enforceable. We prepare and file Consent Orders for both property and parenting matters.

Court Proceedings

Sometimes, despite everyone’s best efforts, court proceedings are necessary — particularly in complex or high-conflict matters. We provide strong, clear representation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and guide our clients through each stage of the court process.

Letters of Administration

If a person dies without a valid Will, the court can grant Letters of Administration to an appropriate person (usually a next of kin), who will then manage and distribute the estate according to law.
